Los Angeles!

My trip to LA was unforgettable. It was certainly an experience of a life time. Kristen and I has a great time together! There is no greater joy then getting out on your own, and spending a week with your best friend who you haven't seen in months.
Our first day, we walked about 8 miles. We wanted to walk around where our hotel was so that we could figure out what was around that we do for entertainment, and food. We ended up walking to the beach, and enjoying beautiful 75* weather. Unfortunately we didn't rent a car because it's super expensive for people under 21, so we relied on the trains, and buses. It worked out just fine, and we even had some funny stories to tell.
Our second day, we went into Hollywood, and went to the 'Original Farmers Market'. This is basically a beautiful outdoor mall, and little mom and pop shops. The mall was way too pricey, we went into one store and found a tank top for $400!! Apparently this place is a big shopping center for celebrities, so we were hoping to see some. We then went to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We walked up and done Hollywood Blvd for hours, seeing all the shops, and walked where celebrities have been!
Our third day, we went to Hollywood again. This time we did a lot of tours! We went to the wax museum, the grammy musuem, the hollywood musuem, and the kodak theatre tour. The Kodak theatre tour was my favorite. This is where the Oscars are held. No pictures were allowed because it is such a high profile area. That is how special it was. I sat where celebrities sat only a week before! I asked our tour guide who is favorite celebrity was and he said Sandra Bullock. If you know me well enough you know that Sandra is my all time favorite. We also went to Manhattan beach that night. There is a great pier, and got to see some beautiful houses along the shoreline. We ate at a great place called Simmzys too. Best place I've ever eaten.
The next day we went to Universal Studios. That was fun. We were expecting a lot more roller coasters, but we ended up seeing a lot of 3D stuff, which was pretty epic. That night we stayed in and ordered Chinese food and rented a movie. All our fun was finally starting to catch up with us.
Since we were feeling the effects of being tired, we thought it would be appreciate to go to the beach the next day. What a perfect day that was. It was absolutely gorgeous out. We didn’t go into the water though because we’re both not used to the colder waters of the Pacific, and it wasn’t too hot that we needed to go into the water. Thankfully, we had the wind blowing constantly that day so we stayed pretty cool. I loved being able to lie out in a bikini and not have a worry in the world. It was great. I even got a great tan. We went to Venice Beach, it is known as ‘Muscle Beach’. We didn’t see much working out but we saw a lot of druggies!
Our last day was spent riding roller coasters! Unfortunately we didn’t get to go to Six Flags besides they hadn’t opened up yet, but we went to Knotts Berry Farm. I would say that is was almost better than Six Flags. We both had never been, and so that was new for us. We got there right when it opened so the lines were short, and we spent all day there. It was an absolute blast! On the bus ride home, we slowly started realizing that our trip was coming to end.
The next day neither one of us wanted to get out of bed. We knew that it would be the last time we get to see each other for another 4-5 months. Once we got to the airport we had a couple of hours to just sit and talk. Saying goodbye is the worst part! I hate it! Both of us though, know that saying goodbye has just gotten easier each time we go our separate places. I’ve got such a great best friend and I am so grateful to have gone on this vacation. We learned much about each other, and are already planning our next vacation!
